‘Did You Miss the Train?’ Book Chronicles Abu-Ghazaleh Life Story
AMMAN – Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Translation (TAG-Translate) issued the 2nd edition of ‘Did You Miss the Train?’ book which tells the stories of ten Islamic, Arabic and global figures, authored by Syrian writer Mr. Manaf Muhammad Saleh Ba'aj.
The first chapter of the book captures the suffering and success story of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh and how he and his family were forced to become refugees, then how he changed his life to get recognized as a successful businessman, role model and leader at a global level and how he changed suffering into a blessing armed with science, patience and determination. The book summarizes the life story of Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh describing how “a refugee child had accomplished what great men couldn’t, and how suffering creates strong men likeTalal Abu-Ghazaleh”.
The writer selected Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh life story to introduce his experience to the growing number of displaced children and families who were forced to leave Syria, Iraq, Yemen and other Islamic and Arab countries so that they learn valuable lessons and get inspired by the suffering of their ancestors who overcame all obstacles and hardships but consequently and successfully prevailed.
It is worthy to mention that the first edition of ‘Did You Miss the Train?’ book was issued in 2018, narrating success stories for a number of figures from the history of former and contemporary nations who constitute a source of inspiration to Arab and Muslim youth.
In addition to Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh’s life story which captured the main part of the book, other stories include famous heroes mainly Musa ibn Nusayr, the conqueror of Al-Andalus, Al Sheikh Khaled Al Azhari, one of the great sheikhs of Al-Azhar Mosque, Abdullah bin Abbas “may Allah be pleased with them”, and Jack Ma, the poor teacher who became the owner of Alibaba Group and one of wealthiest people in the world, in addition to others .
The book is available at all Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global offices in the Arab countries and a number of Arab and international libraries
Manaf Ba'aj, the book writer, authored a number of books including “Shining Situations from History”, “How their Dreams Came True”, in addition to a collection of stories entitled “Refraining from Marriage”, as well as two novels and a collection of poems.
