AQABA - The Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education (AROQA)  held  training programs on Teaching Strategies ‘Creative and Critical Thinking & Problem Solving’ and Classroom Management at the Rosary College School- Aqaba.

The training programs presented by Mr. Yasir Al Nadi, AROQA Executive Director, included different topics which aimed at achieving quality in education and improving teachers’ performance. 

Al Nadi noted that AROQA held the programs to build teachers’ capacities and enhance their critical thinking skills to improve their level of performance and outputs, in addition to providing them with practical classroom management skills that enable them to manage interactive and successful classes. 

Furthermore, Al Nadi stated that AROQA seeks to put into action the visions of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, AROQA chairman, in disseminating the culture of quality education and developing the performance of teachers, pointing out that AROQA offers such training programs for all educational institutions as they deem appropriate whether training courses or workshops. 

On behalf of the Rosary College School, its manager, Sister   Damyana  Bader  thanked AROQA, particularly Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh for his ongoing efforts in improving quality of education, as well as his contributions in boosting the capacities of academic institutions in the Arab world, in addition to offering accreditation and quality assurance services. 

At the end of the program, participants praised the level of training and the various topics which enriched their knowledge to keep abreast of the latest, scientific and professional developments.

It is worth noting that the Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education (AROQA) is an international non-profit independent association established in Belgium in 2007. Its main objective is to promote the quality of higher education with a particular focus on the Arab world. It works under the League of the Arab States’ umbrella. AROQA is chaired by HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, while its Honorary President is the Secretary-General of the Arab League.
