Abu-Ghazaleh Receives South African Ambassador to Jordan, Discusses Issues of Mutual Interest
AMMAN - HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global) received in his office HE Mr. Ebrahim M. Saley, Ambassador of South Africa to Jordan and discussed with him means of cooperation in various fields.
During the meeting, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh referred to the good business environment TAG.Global is experiencing through its office in South Africa; one of the 110 offices around the world, offering unmatched professional services to its clientele in the southernmost country in Africa.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh, in his capacity as the Founding Chairman of the ‘Africa Mediterranean Europe «La Verticale-AME » foundation’, an organization that strives to boost economic and cultural cooperation of the Africa Mediterranean Europe Axis, and one of the work programs of the Mediterranean World Economic Foresight Institute, L'Institut de Prospective Economique du Monde Méditerranéen (IPEMED), asked Ambassador Saley to propose names of personalities from various backgrounds such as business, education, and media to participate in the project which will be launched by December 2019.
Furthermore Dr. Abu Ghazaleh highly praised South Africa’s role, urging stronger involvement in global affairs, particularly that South Africa is one of the G20 Countries.
For his part Ambassador Saley commended Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh’s wisdom, knowledge and business sense, noting that HE enhances optimism and good spirits since he is a role model of success and determination despite all obstacles and challenges he faced and still faces throughout his life.
The Ambassador highlighted his country’s achievements in the past 20 years noting that although South Africa mainly relied on mining industry, its economy is now more diversified.
Moreover, the two parties discussed Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh’s predictions concerning the 2020 Global Economic Crisis and what should be done to be prepared to overcome the crisis and benefit from prosperity that arises subsequently.
It’s worth mentioning that TAG.Global Management Board has recently launched an array of services to cope with the expected financial crisis focusing on comprehensive crisis management which includes administrative and financial restructuring, internal control, governance, digital programs, education and cloud computing, information system protection among other services.
