Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Society and the Jordanian Association for Children of Gaza Sign Agreement
GAZA CAMP, Jerash – Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Society (TAG-KS) signed a cooperation agreement with the Jordanian Association for Supporting the Children of Gaza Charity, by establishing a knowledge station at the Association’s headquarters in Jerash Governorate.
The establishment of the knowledge hub, as one of TAG-KS chain of stations in all the governorates throughout the Kingdom, aims at providing the youth and students in particular with advanced technological tools and means in the field of Information and Communication Technology to enrich their expertise and qualify them to meet local and regional labor market needs.
On behalf of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, the agreement was signed by Mr. Loay Abu-Osbeh, Executive Director of TAG-KS, and Mr. Fawzi Ahmad Al-Soufi, President of Association.
Abu-Osbeh stated that the cooperation agreement with the Association comes in line with Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh’s instructions to establish knowledge stations at the Palestinian Refugee camps in Jordan noting that the main goal of establishing such stations is to transfer knowledge to refugees, students and local community through various professional training courses that qualify the youth and improve their opportunities in labor market.
Abu-Osbeh added that the new knowledge station is the third in a series of knowledge stations TAG.Global plans to establish at the Palestinian Refugee camps in Jordan, the first was established in Irbid Camp and the second in Al-Wehdat Palestinian refugee camp.
For his part, Al Soufi praised Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh’s efforts and contributions in developing local communities and his continuous support to youth at Gaza Camp, emphasizing the importance of establishing knowledge stations in different camps to save students time and efforts in reaching knowledge centers outside the Camp in addition to developing their capabilities and improving their skills.
It is worth mentioning that the establishment of knowledge stations come as a part of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global’s Corporate Social Responsibility in serving youth and developing their skills and qualifications through Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Foundation (TAG-Foundation).
